UAE private sector holiday on March 9

Abu Dhabi: Monday, March 9, has been declared as a holiday for the private sector to mark the birthday of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), according to a circular issued by UAE Minister of Labour Saqr Ghobash.
The circular added that "the ministry seizes this occasion to greet President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Members of Supreme Council Their Highnesses and Rulers of emirates and UAE people, on occasion of Prophet Mohammea (PBUH) birthday."
